NOAM BAHARAV
ABOUT ME

My name is Noam Baharav, and I am taking this class at Foothill while completeing my Junior year at Los Altos High School. I am graduating a year early, so right now I am actually doing both my Junior and Senior years simultaneously, and using Foothill as a venue for that. I am originally Israeli, however I was born in England, raised here in the Bay Area, and lived for a brief time in Shanghai, China. I have a wide variety of interests: I sing in my high school choirs, I am on swim team, I like theater, art, being outdoors, and I love travelling and food...
I am not quite sure what I would like to do with my life as far as a profession, however I am currently interested in Marine Bio. I started taking classes at Foothill for some more variety from my high school classes, but now in order to complete all my high school credits.
I have to stay in the U.S. for another two years in order to get my citizenship, so I was and am still trying to figure out the best ways to use that time. I want to study next year at Foothill, and intern at local Marine Biology facilities, and the next year my dream is to intern or work in Hawaii, or anywhere else where there's sun. After I get my U.S. citizenship, I might join the Israeli Army (which is the American cultural equivalent of college). After that I plan to go to university, preferably in Australia or Europe.
